Practical training of external experts

On 25h and 26th March project management team of ESABIH project organized practical training of external experts, which are selected for pilot project of evaluation of study programs on BH Universities, QA coordinators of all eight public Universities in BH and representatives of HEA.  Seminar was lead by three experts from EU, Prof Andre Govaert, Prof Hans Guenther Sonntag and prof Josep Grifoll,and by Prof Bokonjic Mr Curkovic and Mr Mujkic from BH. Seminar was hosted by University of Sarajevo and total of 51 participants took part on this seminar. External experts were selected by the management team of the project and HEA.

Seminar started with welcome speech of Prof. Hazim Basic from University of Sarajevo, who hosted this seminar. Prof Govaert welcomed seminar on behalf of contractor institution and Mr. Bokonjic welcomed participants on behalf of the Consortium of the project. He presented agenda of the meeting and purpose of the seminar.

After introductory remarks, Mr Grifoll gave presentation about Higher Education in Europe; and European diversity on external QA for HE. Presentation clearly described situation about QA in High Education area in Europe.

Mr Boris Curkovic welcomed participants on the behalf of the agency. He informed participants about current status of criteria and indicators for evaluation and accreditation of institutions and study programs. Also he explained further steps and plans of the agency concerning adoption and acceptance of criteria for evaluation of study programs.  After his presentation we had short discussion about evaluation and accreditation of higher education institutions and programs. 

Next presentation was delivered by Mr Mujkic. He spoke about ESABIH project, main, aims, goals and outputs of the project. He passed through all project activities and explained them in details. He emphasized that we achieved in many aspects much more then we have defined in project application till now.
